YOUR OBJECTIVE COMES FIRST
Product and delivery coordination
Connect a technology change to the way work gets done.
EDPNC identifies technology, life sciences, finance, advanced manufacturing and furniture among North Carolina industries. A useful scoping example is cross-functional program intake. Follow a program request, supporting evidence and delivery-owner assignment through the work with business sponsors, technical leads and program management. Several functions can accept the request while none has authority to resolve competing priorities. Who can resolve a conflict between the participating functions?
Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina: Industries ↗01Name the operating problem
Describe where work stalls, which people reconstruct missing information and what decision is delayed. Use real records to distinguish a process problem from a missing capability. The transformation brief should state the outcome before listing systems to buy.
02Agree on the future handoff
Define the record, status and owner at each step. Identify which checks remain manual, which can be configured and which need a new connection or application. Make responsibilities explicit across internal teams and external providers. Working example: An intake model, decision log and release checklist.
03Sequence dependencies into usable releases
Separate data preparation, access, system changes and training. Choose a first release that improves a complete task rather than delivering disconnected components. Keep unresolved vendor or organizational decisions visible in the plan. For cross-functional program intake, agree how business sponsors, technical leads and program management contribute where those functions are involved.
04Measure adoption with operating quality
Review whether staff use the changed process and whether work reaches its intended outcome. Include exceptions, corrections and support effort. Give people a way to report that a new step creates an obstacle, then assign an owner to decide what changes. Review check: Owners can explain priority, dependencies and release readiness.
