YOUR OBJECTIVE COMES FIRST
Define the scope in its operating context.

WEDC highlights biohealth, water technology, manufacturing, forest products, energy, power and controls, and food and beverage. This is economic context, not evidence of an agency requirement or a public-sector engagement. For a proposed initiative involving technical product order validation, first identify the authorized process owner and the decision the initiative is meant to support. A private-sector operating example can inform questions, but it does not establish procurement eligibility, agency demand or suitability for a government deployment.
Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation: Key Industries ↗01Role-based learning tied to actual tasks
Distinguish general awareness from the skills needed by process owners, reviewers, technical administrators and managers. Use approved training examples that reflect the intended workflow. Explain what the system can establish, where uncertainty remains and how staff escalate a question. For a discussion about technical product order validation, an approved discovery brief should identify pack sizes, units of measure and unresolved item or price differences. Confirm which information may be used and where order management can inspect the discrepancy before approving a business-system entry. These are questions to assess with the initiative owner, not an assertion that this workflow exists at a particular agency.
02A task-based training example
An authorized administrative example can make review responsibilities concrete. Consider the following work description only after the agency approves its relevance and data: Extract proposed customer, product, quantity, unit and requested-date fields from approved orders. Validate mappings and pack sizes against existing records. Keep unknown items and price discrepancies in a review queue with the source document, rather than allow an apparently complete extraction to become an incorrect transaction. Training should explain permitted inputs, correction and escalation, with qualified staff retaining the relevant judgment. Use an approved or appropriately synthetic exercise; do not place real restricted records in an unapproved tool.
03Readiness across a second handoff
A connected example can test whether staff understand incomplete evidence and process ownership: Match acknowledgments and supporting documents to the correct order or project. Flag missing references, conflicting versions and repeated submissions. Distinguish administrative completeness from technical or product acceptance, leaving qualified staff responsible for judgments that cannot be established by reading a field or detecting an attachment. The authorized agency owner decides if this use is permitted. Procurement, security, records and accessibility reviewers identify their own required approvals before a pilot becomes an operating service.
04Adoption people can support
Prepare instructions, feedback channels and a clear operating owner. Measure completion and practical understanding, then examine review effort and recurring questions. Update training when the workflow changes instead of assuming an introductory session establishes continuing readiness.
