Recruiting
in Georgia.

When a critical responsibility has no clear owner, the effects reach beyond one vacancy. RFA supports Georgia employers with recruiting shaped around the systems, people and decisions the new hire will support. We clarify the need, assess relevant experience and keep the hiring conversation connected to everyday operations.

YOUR OBJECTIVE COMES FIRST

Connect technical experience with operational context.
Hire for the work that keeps you moving.

Georgia’s economic development department highlights fintech, cybersecurity and health IT within its technology sector. Its logistics profile also describes connections across ports, rail, road, air and distribution. For employers working across those environments, understanding the business process matters alongside functional experience. We define where the role fits before narrowing the search.

01

Fintech and business systems

For software, systems or finance roles, identify the transaction flow and operational responsibilities involved. Clarify how the hire works with finance, customer operations and engineering. Relevant experience should reflect the systems and decision boundaries the person will actually encounter.

02

Cybersecurity and infrastructure

Separate a broad security title into the responsibilities your organization needs. Threat detection, incident response, cloud infrastructure and security operations involve different work. Define coverage expectations, escalation responsibilities and collaboration with existing IT leaders before assessing candidates.

03

Technology supporting operations

A technical hire supporting distribution or field operations needs to understand interrupted work, system handoffs and service continuity. Examine how a candidate has worked with operational users, managed practical constraints and explained changes to teams outside engineering.

04

Leadership across sites

A leader overseeing more than one location needs a clear operating remit. Specify travel, decision authority, reporting relationships and how performance will be reviewed. Agree which responsibilities require a local presence and which can be managed through a distributed team.

THE RIGHT FIT APPROACH

From your objective
to a scoped engagement.

01

Define the decisions the hire will own

Use a purchase order, item mapping and warehouse exception to explain order intake and distribution-floor handoffs in the role brief. Which unresolved field prevents the warehouse from acting on an order? Record the initial outcomes, reporting line and compensation parameters before the search begins.

02

Give each interviewer useful evidence

Ask candidates to explain what they personally owned in comparable work. Give order management, warehouse operations and system owners complementary assessment responsibilities where those functions are involved. Compare the examples with the agreed role brief rather than a list of job titles.

03

Resolve the working questions before an offer

An order accepted by customer service may still lack the mapping needed by the warehouse. Discuss how the candidate would recognize that problem, involve the right colleagues and explain a decision. Confirm the work location, collaboration pattern and authority the role will actually have.

PLANNING THE ENGAGEMENT

Questions about support in Georgia.

Do you recruit outside Atlanta?

Share the precise location and work arrangement. A role tied to a distribution site has different travel and attendance needs from a distributed software role. We discuss fit and search availability for the requirements you provide.

Can you help with a difficult technical vacancy?

Start by explaining why the search has stalled. An unusually broad brief, unclear ownership or an inflexible work arrangement may need attention alongside sourcing. We review those constraints before agreeing on the search.

What information helps a multi-site search?

Provide site locations, reporting lines, travel expectations, shifts or collaboration hours and the responsibilities shared with existing teams. Candidates should understand how the role operates across locations before the final interview stage.

Can we combine recruiting with an automation project?

Yes. Treat the continuing role and the project as separate needs, then coordinate their scope. A new hire should understand which workflow changes are planned and who will own the resulting systems.
